April 28, 200719 yr Typical Adam Dunn... HSSRB just called and said "Dunn can't do it by himself!"
April 28, 200719 yr What a sad game that was they put up a pitiful effort and Milton didn't up as many runs as I wanted. :irked:
April 28, 200719 yr ^ I think they pulled him too early. He gave up 3 runs in the 1st, nothing after that, and Narron pulls him in the 5th? I'm not sure what his managing philosophy is....
April 28, 200719 yr I take a nap, wake up and the Reds are behind 3-0. Milton only pitches into the 5th, Dunn FINALLY gets a home run and doesn't mean a darn thing. This team is well on their way to finishing the season a PROMISING 20 games under 500.
April 28, 200719 yr Reds need to bring back Dibble, I'm sure he could pitch better than some of the guys down there right now. And Brantley, seriously............would they be worse than this crew? I don't think so. :irked:
April 28, 200719 yr And Brantley, seriously............would they be worse than this crew? I don't think so. :irked: It's amazing cause the bullpen had a great turnaround after all the trades last year. So they had a great start to last year with their offense and lost A LOT of games because of the pen. They fix the pen, break the offense and now both the pen and offense are broken. Might be time to give Dave Parker a call and see if he is up for a comeback.
April 28, 200719 yr I'm not sure what his managing philosophy is.... I think that I am finally accepting the fact that Narron doesn't have managing philosophy . I might have to be issuing an apology to all on here that were blasting him last year and I was defending him. No, not "might" have to, I am issuing an apology to the ones mentioned earlier.
April 28, 200719 yr The Pirates got three runs in the first of of Eric Milton(0-4 4.71) and then got a strong performance Ian Snell (2-1 1.59 ERA) Up again down again Salomón Torres recorded save number seven on the season. Jack Wilson,Brad Eldred and Ronny Paulino each had two-hits for the winners. 3-1 Final
April 28, 200719 yr Might be time to give Dave Parker a call and see if he is up for a comeback.  Why stop with him, I saw Geoge Foster on t.v. the other day and he looked fairly healthy . Lets just give Sparky Anderson a call and all that were members of the Big Red Machine that are still walking and see how many they could win   . Pete Rose would lay you odds on them finishing in the playoffs :sssh: .

April 28, 200719 yr I think the entire team needs to grow beards. I don't know why. Call it good fan intuition. But I think facial hair will get us back on track.
