The TLC special on Josh Hamilton and Richard Davis about the Shoeless Joe home comes on TLC in 20 minutes (1am ET). Good show to Tivo.

Thanks. Now I'm up past 2... :p :irked:

Suuuure. Use the Bugs and Daffy defense....earthling.

That must have been really hard for him to go the that Hall of Fame banquet at that point in his life.

Thanks Scribe. That was good stuff...

I enjoyed it the first time I saw it last month and undertook a large dose of respect for Hamilton afterwards.

You're in charge of students? :scared::scared: :scared: :D

Tonight's line-up:

Josh Hamilton CF

Brandon Phillips 2B

Adam Dunn LF

Ken Griffey Jr. RF

Edwin Encarnacion 3B

Scott Hatteberg 1B

Alex Gonzalez SS

David Ross C

Aaron Harang P

With last night's line-up producing like they did, will Narron keep it in place or go about his usual juggling act?

Would you move Hamilton down in the order to let Freel leadoff when he's in there?

Lastly, does anyone else think that part of the problem with the Reds inconsistent hitting is the seemingly constant juggling of the order that Narron does? It seems to me it would be better for the hitters if they could get comfortable with there spot in the lineup. As for me, I think last night's lineup was about as good as the Reds can do at this point...

Tonight's line-up:

Hamilton

Phillips

Dunn

Griffey

EE

Hatteberg

Gonzalez

Ross

Has anyone else seen the lefty that the Cards are throwing at the Reds on Thursday? He'll probably throw a 3 hit shutout, and hit a homer. :scared: :scared: :scared:

They also mentioned he is a former Red, I'm guessing they meant he used to be in their minor league system, but I don't know anything about him.

That was my point. Keisler pitched in several games for the Reds in 2005, a few as a starter. He had a few decent outings out of the pen. I remember one game in particular where he pitched 8 2/3 innings out of the pen, hit a homer, and got the win. He didn't fare so well as a starter though. It just seems like former Reds like this, always come back and pitch great against the Reds.

Oh okay, I wasn't living here in Kentucky in 2005, didn't follow the Reds everyday. You are right though, that's usually how it works. Do something he likely won't do the rest of his career. lol
