I am recording it on my DVR.

I would actually like to watch this one again. I've seen the shot numerous times, but I've only seen the entire game once, when it was live, and I was 5 at the time....I wish I had Classic, as they seem to show it at least once a month.

I hate the way it ended, but it was one of the greatest games I have ever seen!

Now that I've moved past it, I find that game quite enjoyable. It is two contrasting teams, one the defending champ loaded with talent, another an upstart team built on the backs of some homegrown Kentucky boys and a couple of imports (Woods, Mashburn). Represents everything that is right with basketball, and has possibly the best finish ever to boot.

I was three years old when this game was originally played. My parents tell me

that it was the first game I ever sat down and watched all the way through. It

seems ironic that I got word today that I was accepted to Duke University, for

today is the anniversary. I guess I have my own little Blue Devil vs. Wildcat game

happening in my own life.

With all this having been said, Laettner is still a creep.

Who were the announcers for that game?

I'll take Duke by one.

Who were the announcers for that game?

Verne Lundquist, and it sounds like ... Len Elmore.

Congratulations!!! That's a pretty tough school to get into... Good Luck!

I know the point of this thread is the game, but CONGRATS on getting in!!

Sad ending to a great game. Kentucky should have won.

How did I know a Duke fan started this thread? lol

What a great game....Scribe you got it right. How did you know?
