March 22, 200719 yr Just like the Notre Dame situation two years ago. That seemed to blow itself over. If anyone wants to play the race card on this, let them. As we have stated, race was a distant third for reasons that UK fans were not happy with Tubby's COACHING. I don't believe anyone can question his character or person. You can compare what you want...Indiana is not exactly a racist state and Kentucky is percieved as one. It was a huge deal when UK hired Tubby because he's black, it will be a bigger one now that we ran the first and only black coach UK ever had off.

I know this is a tough day for many that supported Tubby but how does this set the program back 5 years? I have heard a few people say that on here and I just dont see it.The last 2 years have been dismall and 3 out of the last 4 years UK has been sent home in the 2nd round of the tournament.
