March 23, 200719 yr I believe it's true...I am very dissapointed. This program may have just been set back 10 years. I keep hearing this is a set back. And a 10 year one at that explain to me how.Just look at U.K. roster for next year and tell me then who has set this program back.

March 23, 200719 yr It amazes me the audacity of the Kentucky fans that feel a sense of entitlement because "we are UK". These non-fans will not face the reallity that college basketball has changed and we are one of many elite programs and not "the" elite program. This same arrogance makes these people believe that all we have to do is offer the job and the coach ofm his or her dream will break down the doors, not to mention contracts, to take over the program. It's high time that these non-fans find out that not everyone looks at this job as the plum of coaching that they all perceive. I say congratulations to Tubby for going where he will be appreciated for all aspects of his life and I alos offer my condolences for the next sacrificial lamb that enters the heat of hell's kitchen that is Kentucky basketball.

March 23, 200719 yr Based on the fact that the board of trustees called a 12:30 meeting for today would seem to imply that they already know who the next coach is. If it's anyone other than 16 still coaching, we'll know by tommorrow. If it is one of them we'll have to wait til they win it or lose out.
