Tony LaRussa DUI...

That's really unfortunate. He should thank God that his foot was on the brake and not the gas. I wonder if the responding officers thought he was dead? Slumped over at the wheel like that, it probably scared them to death when they saw who it was.

Not if they were Cubs fans.

On Cold Pizza Steve Phillips just said players might be able to relate and build relationships off this.

It was said in jest, but there may be some truth in it...

I heard the Cardinals were going to fire him because it was determined that he was drinking Coors beer instead of an Anheuser beer.

I don't care that is just so stupid to say on TV like that.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I can't believe he's not wearing his dark glasses in the mug shot! It's almost hard to recognize him.

That is pretty bizarre that he would be passed out and unresponsive and then only blow a 093.

I know that is over the limit, but I was expecting a higher bac level when reading the article.

I wonder what the spin will be? Cold medicine? Sleep apnea?

I thought the same thing.

Isn't this similar to Eddie Sutton, I know he was found unresponsive in a parking lot and I thought he also had an accident as well.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I wish that when they come to Cincinnati that when he makes his first visit to the mound that the stadium speakers blare "Have a drink on me" by AC/DC.

I think there was some PA announcer in the minor leagues or was it major, that got fired for playing something similar to what you are saying. A pitcher was getting called in and he played something relating to his personal problems, can't remember the exact story.

I agree with you, would be great, goodness knows everyone is too PC nowadays.

Go there to check BAC. It tells you what it would be for X amount of Beers for X amount of hours.

6 beers in 2 hours is .090 sooooooooooo basically Tony is a light weight. J/K There almost has to be another factor that is still involved in this.

Will he retain counsel or just put his own defense on?

I think he better make a call to the Bullpen and get someone to come in relief. :D
