March 17, 200719 yr Awsome win by the CATS! I was at BW3's and that place was rocking. Morris is playing to sign the dotted line when this run is over and with the last 3 games he's had, he deserves it. Nice win and great effort!:fight:
March 17, 200719 yr Morris is playing like he is trying out for an NBA run for the playoffs. Question for someone with more knowledge than myself on the matter? How does a NBA team go about contacting him for a FA contract WITHOUT endangering his NCAA status for next season?

Nova wasn't able to do the things I thought they would to take Morris out of his game and he played as well as he has in his career in this one. He stayed active and didn't let Nova frustrate him with fouls and overall activity in the post they showed against Gray and Hibbert. Well done RM. That's what 40 minutes looks like, and if we see it again you never know. In the 2nd half Reynolds looked like he was forcing things as a direct result of the pick and roll being defended better. Been a long time since we've seen a UK team do that. Hats off to the Cats for proving me wrong and doing the things they have had major issues with well over a full game. I need some A-1 sauce for my crow. Enjoy guys. Great effort and a hard fought win... Good post...:thumb:

Tennessee with Lofton. I think they did a good job of forcing Reynolds left. Morris was fantastic and Thomas playing well at the four helped him.

March 17, 200719 yr Ticky tack calls are made in every single basketball game... The ticky tack, iffy calls went both ways tonight...why are you only pointing out the ones made on Nova...? Isn't it funny, too that the ticky tack, iffy calls are usually on the perimeter against little bitty guards while inside the big boys are getting pounded and no calls. If you tried to body a guard 20 feet from the basket as the inside players get bodied, you would foul out in the first 5 minutes. Never understood why it's a foul 30 feet from the basket (the two Morris fouls on guards) and it is not a foul 2 feet from the basket.

Reason being talking to an agent and the agent acting on his behalf to set up workouts WITHOUT anything being signed got him in the trouble last time. If an agent cannot contact teams in his behalf, how will the process work without endangering his NCAA status. They have to contact his father or him?

Maybe he can talk directly to a team then, to see what the offer is... I'm really not sure, I just hope he stays at UK for his final year.

Absolutely not...You're right, facts are facts, and Morris got the benefit on several calls. I disagree with this comment. I don't know what game you were watching. I had about 10 people over to watch the game, and the conversation for most of the night was how Morris was getting hammered everytime he got the ball in the low post. Nova's game plan appeared to be to killl him, and hope he doesn't make the shot or ft's.
