I was just looking down Oldham's schedule to see who they had played this year. I don't know if Forest is the best coach, but he gets the big award for the best schedule. Did Forest even think about playing a top 25 team this year?

scheduling seems to be a concern.??. OC played 9 of their first 12 games away from Home, that's not the easy way to do things. Their last 9 straight games have been on the 'road' They played 10 teams that won 20 or more games. Played SK (twice) Shelby (1) who at 1 time were ranked....This with 4 out of 5 starters underclassmen....!8 out 29 games on the road.. might be a 'seasoning' for a young team..only 3 senior, one had never played before. Should they have 'book'd' Rupp? Were they invited to any big tourney's? They were a young inexpereinced team....Yeah.. Scott will probably Kill'em!!

Sk had ball with 20 seconds left in regulation (tied) and failed to get the ball inside to Hurd!! They wound up settling for a desparation 3 from atop the key. Tied up and having to shoot a three for the win? You must go inside to your strength. 3 guys should have been setting a pick for Hurd down low.

Congrats to Oldham and Coach Forrest. This has to really sting SK because the talk all season (dating back to the preseason) was how they were going to WALK through the 8th much like Shelby did a year ago. SK will definitely be in the mix for years to come but this year was the one they had to take advantage of.

Rojas, I see your point about the schedule. It really doesnt matter at this point. I saw Scott County play a few times this year including the Arlington game. Scott County will dominate this game from the minute layup lines start. But you have to give Forrest credit too. From what a buddy of mine was saying that knows Oldham pretty well, he said they have no college level players except maybe at the lower end and Forrest was able to get a ticket to Rupp.
