March 16, 200719 yr ^ That is what I was thinking...They went 10 minutes without a point, and not a 2 point basket the whole 1st half...
March 16, 200719 yr    Duke is the most overseeded team in the tourney!!! Duke has lost 4 in a row to end the season. "Once a decade" that's a nice motto to live by....not nearly the "No Final Fours for a Decade" motto that seems to reign supreme in the Bluegrass.
March 16, 200719 yr "Once a decade" that's a nice motto to live by....not nearly the "No Final Fours for a Decade" motto that seems to reign supreme in the Bluegrass. You can throw whatever you want at me. Duke has been overrated for 3 straight years now. And every year the underachieve based on their seed. And I have simply been right on by pointing that out. Duke's team next year, much like ours, has a lot riding on whether or not the big man comes back to school or goes pro.
March 16, 200719 yr And every year they underachieve based on their seed. Will you please clairfy this, before I blast it apart?
March 16, 200719 yr Will you please clairfy this, before I blast it apart?I don't agree with three years ago (final four), but they were a #1 seed last year and failed to advance past the Sweet 16. They were favored to win tonight and didn't. I'll agree with LMB on the last two years only.
March 16, 200719 yr Will you please clairfy this, before I blast it apart? Duke was the #1 seed last year. All the analysts were saying they are going to the Final 4. LSU beat them convincingly. Duke this year is overrated as a 6 seed and were beaten by the 11th seed. Its true I dont like Duke, but I have always called it like I see it with them. The last 3 years they have had glaring weaknesses. I have also pointed out that the addition of Nolan Smith and Singler will really give Duke a big boost and make them more athletic next year. For Duke I believe it all comes down to McRoberts staying or going pro.

I wasn't surprised by last year or tonight...the way their team was set up...they can not beat a long, athletic team..not "can not" but they are much more succeptable to the loss...next year, that trend willl start to reverse again.

March 16, 200719 yr Duke...and this years winnner as the "NCAA Politics winner"...And as bad as I hate to admit in on our part...the only way Duke and Ky should have met in the post season was in the NIT....Sorry to all of you..but that's the way ist should have been!! I dread Villanova like the plague!!

March 17, 200719 yr Cats win and advance, Duke loses and goes home. Bottom line is Duke was overseeded, UK was about right and the sad thing is the committee each year will continue to drink the Duke Kool Aid and overseed them most years. And I can already hear next years excuse by the Duke fans. "We have talent but so much of it is young, the freshmen will be sophomores next year and then watch out." And that will sound a lot like UK fans talking when Rondo, Morris, Brandley and Crawford were freshmen. And you heard it here first.
