GoRadio always does a class job, and therefore IMHO is far and away the best radio broadcaster that I've heard. He's about the kids, no matter where they're from. Again, another bang up job!!:thumb:

A huge congratulations to the RH girls and their coaching staff. They have really come together as a team the last few weeks of the season. With the favorable draw (RH playing Pike County Central in opening round) RH has a great chance of making it to Saturday morning. Now that RH has earned the right to go to Diddle, I hope that everyone's individual school preferences can be put aside - and everyone root for our 16th region representative. GOOD LUCK TO ROSE HILL AT STATE!!!!!!!

The radio crew that broadcast the Championship game did a fantastic job. Thanks for your hard work and the broadcast was very fair and impartial.

A lot if not all of that was due to the Rose Hill Lady Royals, and if you are talking about the boys game also a lot if not all of that was directly due to the Elliott Co. Lions. Russell didn't 'lose" the games, Rose Hill (girls) and Elliott (boys) WON the games. They took it to Russell and beat them, both were the better team in the title games.

 

I just meant it was a bad day for Russell altogether (both teams lost).

Wireman, any thoughts on Rowan County not placing any kids on the All Tournament Team? I didn't get to see them play, but am an admirer of Coach Thomas and his schemes and am curious about the All Tourney situation.

Just want to thank all of you for the kind words. We do what we do for the kids. Somebody has to promote girls basketball. We were very fortunate early on to have someone like Hop Brown to have success in girls basketball that created an interest in our business community to support our broadcasts. It has snowballed. I dare say that when we first started doing regular season girls games on a regular basis, we were truly the only ones. We do about 24-30 regular season girls games a year now, plus the entire district and regional tourneys. We LOVE it!!!! Congrats to Rose Hill, they played a great game. It was also a pleasure to interview Ms Queen following the game. Very gracious, humble and poised young lady (she must come from good stock himmel) a rarity these days in the world of athletics.
