You know, there are actually some people who coach because they want to help kids be the best they can be... not for the personal attention and recognition they might receive for themselves. I believe Pam Euton is in this for the kids, I've seen it day after day, week after week, year after year. :thumb:

 

Considering what we've come to accept as normal, I guess that is pretty "interesting." :lol:

 

Just wondering what you meant by shots. Needles, Rounds, Bullets, Baskets,, ha ha...I know she does alot for kids, and I might add adults as well.

I don't know if we can make ouselves drive through Mossy Bottom / Eagle country or not For some reason that is against city ordinance - LOL. If that is how you want us to arrive we may have to work something else out but I am sure that the offer still stands, just have to vary the route.

After last year's fine season, Pam didn't receive the accolades that she earned and deserved. It will be inexcusable and revealing if she is overlooked this year.

 

She is much more that a coach. She does all of the many other tasks that are necessary to be a success as a girls's coach. She is forced to wear many hats and she wears them well.

I don't think any other area coach could have led these girls to Bowling Green once, let alone two years in a row.

 

When the Rose Hillers say their prayers, they better add Pam Euton to their list of blessings.

 

The powers that be should read this because if this is the case then it is very unfair to Pam to do more than her job calls for.

Thanks for your kind words and support. You and others like you are why I am more and more a 16th Region fan...relative to all others...and not just a Lady Royals fan.

 

I am trying not to let myself imagine what it would be like to once again play on Saturday...and even Saturday night. The excitement is too much!!

I don't think it really mattered much who RH drew first. Nobody could have beaten them last week the way they played. Their bracket proved to be just as tough IMO.

Russell shot like they did due to the stiffling defense of Rose Hill, particularly Queen and especially Terry's work on Okoro all night.

Royal Uncle is correct about the defense. Ashland, with all due respect, was not capable of playing that type of defense. Rose Hill stopped Okora. That was the key. The others played pretty much as they usually play and certainly no worse than they played against Ashland.

 

The Russell-Ashland game was never a contest. Ashland's year may well be coming but this was not it.

Boy, I sure wasn't hoping to draw Russell. Russell is a fine team and it is a shame that their seniors won't get a chance to play at Diddle Arena. When tournament time came, the two best teams in this region were Rose Hill and Russell. On finals night, Rose Hill was the better of the two.

I am glad that Rose Hill played them. It was probably for the best that the Lady Royals played them in the finals. I think that it will help them in the first round at Diddle.
