I am sorry to display my ignorance . . . but what Scott Co. basketball team are we speaking of . . . certainly not the #1 ranked team in the state are we?

Scott High School in Northern Kentucky, not Scott County High from Georgetown.

I think his last name is Chamberlain and he is by far not the greatest either, likes to blow that whistle. The 10th is tough though, let them play tommorrow guys.

I agree...Let the players decide the outcome of the game...but be consistent on both ends of the court..:thumb:

Congrats to GRC for hanging in there and pulling it out. That's pretty impressive for an 8th grader to step up in that pressure situation.

Congratualtions to Scott on a fantastic season. They end the season at 22-11. Not too many people in the 10th Region or for that matter Northern Kentucky gave them much respect or credit early on! Hopefully they will not be overlooked any longer!

 

Sure glad Scott showed up to play today because it was another classic. Many on this site thought this was going to be a GRC cake walk and blow out. Just like they have all year, the Eagles rsponded by believing in each other and leaving everything on the floor. While they did not close the deal, they kept it close and gave themselves a chance to win. That is all you can ask for! They played with a lot of heart the entire season and it showed in today's perfromance!

I know this is off the subject. But, the lady from Scott sitting on the Clark County side was ridiculous. I don't care how old you are that simply is not called for. This is what I would call Bush League. Then when the Clark students stood in front of her she would push them out of the way. That's how fights get started. I commend the Clark County fans for how they kept their composure and laughed this classless act off. Your better than I would have been. Seems most N. KY schools have trouble knowing where they should be sitting. Every game I go to that involves a school from Boone, Kenton, or Campbell the fans will sit on the wrong side. Even when the sides are marked.

If not mistaken this lady you are referring to is possibly the head coach of Scott High's mother. She was doing no wrong. For crying out loud she is one little senior citizen lady simply having a good time and supporting her team. She said nothing directly to Clark Co.'s crowd. She simply stood up and cheered on her team. Very rude for the young boys to cause a scene as they did. Very disrespectful and no class at all. You seen who the law addressed the problem with didn't you. It wasn't the elderly lady becuse she was minding her own business unitl the teenagers starting harrassing her. I would have pushed them out of my way as well. It's a free country we can sit anywhere we wish in a gym. The students at Clark Co. should respect their elders. She truly was causing no harm. I wished my grandmother could attend a basketball game and support her team as this lady did, regardless of which side she may chose to sit on.

I don't think its fair to slam all Nothern KY high schools, as not understanding protocol and causing trouble at games, because of one incident, that's all??

Had these semi-final games as high scoring blowouts. Sounds like the refs pulled back the reins on both games,which is a shame. Are this year's tournament referee's new to the 10th region environment or have they called there before? Anyone know? Hope tomm. they let the players abilities decide the game and not free throws.

 

 

WOW can't you just say your wrong and that the NKY teams are way better then you give them credit for, if anything The refs cost scott the game on the questionable at best block call they called on Smith to but Stenzel? on the foul line. With that said, foul shooting killed Scott yet again. #21 for Clark did a heck of a job in the first half maning up Sharp, but Sharp step up in the second half, congrats on the 1000 points club. Knowles is the real deal.
