Nate Sharp joined the Eagle's 1000 point club today. Too bad they didn't win though......... Great year for him and the Eagles

Just got home...Hats off to the Scott players and coaching staff. Well coached team. They played with so much heart. Best of luck to all the seniors in their future pursuits.

Over all not a good game for the cards. Today there were flashes of how I know they can play. 1 point win..I will take it. Today and tomorrow.:thumb:

The officiating for the Brossart/Mason game was terrible. GRC/Scott had a great officiating crew led by John Chamberland and I forget the other guys names, but they always do a good job.

I know this is off the subject. But, the lady from Scott sitting on the Clark County side was ridiculous. I don't care how old you are that simply is not called for. This is what I would call Bush League. Then when the Clark students stood in front of her she would push them out of the way. That's how fights get started. I commend the Clark County fans for how they kept their composure and laughed this classless act off. Your better than I would have been. Seems most N. KY schools have trouble knowing where they should be sitting. Every game I go to that involves a school from Boone, Kenton, or Campbell the fans will sit on the wrong side. Even when the sides are marked.

I was bummed pretty bad that our Mustangs went out today, but am double bummed that Scott couldn't pull that one out.

 

Down one, Scott had the ball and 14 seconds to win the game. Nathan Sharp penetrated on a clear out, got the shot up and I was having Justin Seiter flashbacks - only this one has a tragic ending, the shot was short, time expired and Clark County, who didn't score a field goal in the final 4:30 of the game dodge a MAJOR Scott bullet.

 

I feel for the Eagles - How many close games can one team lose in a single season.

WOW!!!!!!! Do you really need to condemn 20 some high schools and their fans because one old lady was obnoxious??

I really thought the Eagles were going to pull it out. I feel for the Scott seniors, but they gave everything they had and left it out on the floor. They made it a lot further than anyone thought they would. Would have liked to see them take on Mason tomorrow. Thanks for a great season.

He was the one that called the foul on Scott's Ryne Smith with 14 seconds left in the game. It might have been a foul, not real sure, but it probably could have been a no call too. Oh well, it doesn't really matter now.

BTW--How about that 37th district?? Provided more than just "opposition" to two of the state's best teams as many on here predicted!! Congratulations to both team's seniors on great seasons and great careers!!

Had these semi-final games as high scoring blowouts. Sounds like the refs pulled back the reins on both games,which is a shame. Are this year's tournament referee's new to the 10th region environment or have they called there before? Anyone know? Hope tomm. they let the players abilities decide the game and not free throws.

Good game and good effort from both teams... Just would of liked to see how the outcome would have been if both Jones and Knowles wouldn't have been called for 5 fouls a piece.. but it happens. Hopefully everyone will be able to stay on the floor tomorrow and have an excellent game.
