March 10, 200719 yr The nation could save about 100,000 barrels of oil a day by extending daylight saving time, pushing more human activity into sunlight hours and reducing the use of light bulbs. The cumulative benefit through 2020 of longer daylight-saving time would be a savings of $4.4 billion, with 10.8 million metric tons less carbon spewed into the air. Personally, I hate it because I have to use light bulbs MORE in the winter. It gets so dark on jobsites I always have to drag the lights out just to finish or load the truck. Sometimes in December you can't see in a basement as early as 4:30. Most tradesmen hate it in winter but love it in summer when it may not be dark until close to ten.

March 11, 200719 yr I just hate having to go around changing all of my clocks. I do too, and they need to leave the time alone . It worked the old fashion was for YEARS. :walk:
March 11, 200719 yr I love daylight!! I have to admit that to spring forward kick's me in the pant's for a week or so.
March 11, 200719 yr I know I'm going to spend a very confusing ten minutes tomorrow morning wondering what time I'm actually on and whether or not that makes me really early, late, or on time.
March 14, 200719 yr I love daylight savings time. As a matter of fact, the day that daylight savings time begins is one of my favorite days of the year, sort of a personal holiday in the ttc household. Actually, I wish we could keep changing the time all during the year so that it never gets dark before 9:00 pm. Sure the sun might rise at 11:am in winter, but I don't care because its all about what I want. I'm definitely one of those people that suffers from "light deprivation disorder" or whatever its called in the winter. LET THERE BE LIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
