You must not pay too good attention to the game. There are two gurads on the team that look to pass first and they are Ponzer and Hopkins. Barnes, Slavey, and even Hester all look for their own shot first. When he was starting earlier in the year, rather than "dribble with his head down", he would break the press by passing the ball. When was the last time you saw SK play? If you are a regular in attendance maybe you should start watching the game rather than mingle with your little group of people who think that their kids are the ones who should be running the show. You're right, you haven't been doing it the whole year, I should have said in the past because unless I am mistaken you have gotten in some trouble before on here for comments about this kid, which leads me to believe even more that your connection to the team must be playing behind him.

The way you talk makes me wonder if you have a connection to the team, but I agree with one thing you have said, Nate is a heck of a shooter, and those stats are probably a little mis leading, When Nate is fully healthy he is one of the best shooters SK has. When he was starting when Hester was hurt, I believe thats when he had ligment damage in his hand, which would make it hard for anyone to shoot. I would like to see Nate shooting percentage in the past few weeks, those numbers should tell us how good of a shooter he is. Also Nate is the best defensive opition they have at point coming off the bench, Slavey and Barnes are just to slow to play defense at a high level.

gallatin by 6..edmondson with 35+

Edmondson is a good player, but when was the last time he put up 35 in a game, or even 25.

I really hope to see Edmonson and Elbert guarding each other. If so who do you all think gets the best of this match up?

I'd take Elbert, much more multi dimensional in my eyes.

Scary thought that probably the feel good pick, whom everyone (including the refs), would love to see Gallatin advance?

You might be mistaken about the "refs" part. Gallatin has been on the wrong end of several calls by the refs this year.

You are correct because Gallatin plays TEAM ball. This is why you can't just concentrate on 1 or 2 players. They can all shoot and are capable of stepping up. You are more likely to see 4-6 guys in double digits, rather than anyone one person with a huge game.

Absolutely!!! If you try to concentrate on one, another may pop 2-3 three pointers on you. The Wildcats will play TEAM ball on Monday. If you thought they were up for Shelby, wait for this one!!!!!

They (Ponzer and Hopkins) should look to pass first because they are not your first, second or third option. Hester and Hurd both is the first and second option which they should be. Elbert is the third option. If you would have been watching the game when Mike was out you would have seen Elbert bringing the ball up (actually doing about everything). For running the show, that is Mike's job an he does it quite WELL. Again you are mistaken about getting in trouble about this kid it was something else. Before you state something make sure you know what you are talking about.

You are kidding right? He shoots 28.3% from the field and 18.2% from behind the arc. Apparently you do not know what a good shooter is.

Ponzer has the best stroke on the team. If not for a golf ball hiding under his thumb he'd be lights out.

I wasn't expecting you to admit to getting in trouble for one of your foot in mouth comments;) . I know who the main options are, I was simply stating that unlike your choice for who should be playing, Ponzer and Hopkins also know their role and the roles of the others on the team. When Mike was out the team broke the press by passing the ball. Just curious, can you elaborate on your experience with the game, did you play or coach or where does all of your knowledge about the game come from? Elbert did step up with Hester out, I agree with that.

As a Gallatin fan , i have seen Coach Stiener at several Gallatin games this season. I think both teams will be well prepared.

I'm sure he thought he was watching a different team each time. Has Gallatin had the same starting line-up for 5 games in a row this year? Or even 4 games in a row?

I think this game could be a dandy. SK should probably win, but it would be no surprise to see GC win either. I will go with the upset.

GC by 4

I have had the chance to watch both teams play alot this year and they both have there ups and downs. Gallatin plays a better team game, but SK has the better talent. If SK plays a good inside out game they should walk out of the gym with the win. But they will have to use all there weapons because there is no way Gallatin lets one guy beat them.
