It does sound like UK has a good chance at both. I will remain cautiously optimistic with those 2. If they sign I will be thrilled!

I am hearing the same from pretty good sources(although the same thought we had Wright too). Both would be impact freshman if the do decide to come next season.

Have you heard anything new on a timeframe?? I know Lucas said he wants to announce mid-late March, but may have to wait due to the Tubby fiasco...

My question is: Would UK keep Tubby around just to sign these two, and then maybe get rid of him afterwards?

It'd just be sooooo nice to have a PG that can actually shoot the ball with some confidence. Jasper and Hawkins can't/couldn't do that.

I wonder if that had anything to do with him telling the team he wasn't going anywhere....

I don't think so. I think Tubby will be back next season. If no more progress next season then I think he is out.

I would sure hope that the university would be above deceiving these two kids. If they are going to fire Tubby, do so at the end of the season, don't wait until LOIs are signed.

I think they have a little more class than that, especially OTS.

I am not doubting your source. I think we will get them. But with whats happened the past couple years Im going to be cautious.
