Brossart is playing well as of late after beating Covington Catholic

 

I didn't realize that Brossart and Clark Co had not played this year. The draw has already been talked about and how important it is. Don't know who the Mustangs would rather face in the regional semi-finals. The Royals or Clark Co.

 

I know a lot of games have to be played first, no reason to get ahead of ourselves yet. But nothing wrong with looking ahead. : )

I agree, but don't know what they can do in the long run, but making it interesting.

Lee county from the 14th is playing really well. They lost in a close one to a tough Henry Clay team. Im taking them to win their district and make a push in region.

Caldwell County has won 12 straight heading into the 7th District tourney. Biggest wins were Calloway County, University Heights and Hopkinsville.

Mason County has won 10 straight, including wins over Catholic, J'Town, Madison Central, Clark County and Brossart.

 

Bryan Station has won 11 of its last 12; the only blemish a 4-point loss at Scott County - nothing to be ashamed of.

 

Ballard has won 18 straight.

 

Meade County, over in Region 3, has won 11 straight including a defeat of Central Hardin.

 

Elizabethtown had won several straight until getting beat by...

 

Holmes, who has won 8 in a row. I wouldn't want to be facing Holmes right now.

 

Over in the 16th, Russell hasn't lost to a Kentucky squad since January 5, and Rose Hill has won 5 in a row.

 

And I think there's a team over in Georgetown that's got a pretty nice record, although they have been tested lately.

Yep, I agree. If everything plays out with no upsets. We will have Brossart, Clark, Mason as 3 of the final 4 in the region. Those will be some great games to watch.

We'll gladly let Mason have Brossart on their side of their bracket. We took care of Pendleton last year.

In the 1st Region has to be Marshall County and Paducah Tilghman...gee what a surprise...lol

 

I would still have to favor Graves Co. until their dethroned. Their slow down style of basketball keeps them in every game they play. When the pressure is on alot of teams will fold and Hatcher finds a way to win. This is with out question the most wide open first region situation I've seen in a while. I see Tilghman, Marshall, Graves, Mayfield, Heath, Calloway and you never know what Fulton Co. team will show up (don't think they can win it but who knows who they might upset) as all possibles. It just depends on who gets the hottest in the next two weeks.

Holmes will be a tough out with everyone in the line-up.

Which ever team out of the Big 3 in the 10th region that is alone on their side of the regional bracket will most definately have an advantage going into the Regional Championship. If Mason is alone in the bracket I will say that they most likely don't have a problem winning the region. If either of the other two are alone things could be very interesting.

Every game will be a HUGE test from here on out for the Cards. I won't be suprised if every team we face from now on is ranked in the top 25.
