whodey Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I am going to have to go with Chris Lofton, after last nights performance. Depending on how the season plays out it may change. Here is an article with SEC player rankings. I think Glen Davis' chances are out now that it seems LSU plays so much better without him. http://www.aseaofblue.com/story/2007/2/22/133039/870
Long Time Warrior Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Brewer or Noah from Florida wins. Best team in the league has the player IMO.
RockPride Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Brewer may win...but it isn't Noah now.....Lofton will likely win, mainly in regards to what he's done on the court...and what UT couldn't do when he wasn't on the court.
spe690 Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Byars from Vandy or Lofton from UT are the 2 leading candidates in my opinion. If anybody from Florida wins POY it should be Horford or maybe Brewer.
NobizLikeShowbiz Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I definately say Chris, UT is nowhere near making the tournament without him.
1996 Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 LOFTON, He means more to his team than any other player in the league. He still maintains the stats to earn him this honor
HOMELESS CAMEL Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Derek Byars can BALL! Give it to him. It's already sickening enough watch him play. I just imagine what Virginia would be like had he not transferred. I believe another transfer, Gary Forbes Jr is also playing well, can't remember what school he is playing at. Yes, I would agree with you though, the kid can light up the scoreboard.
fieldhousekrayzie21 Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Chris Lofton runs away with it. 2. Byars 3. Horford 4. Davis
royalalumni13 Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Just look at my avatar.. thats your winner Mr. Chris "C-Lo" Lofton.
