Should be interesting down here in the far west as Region #1 refs allow coaches to "discuss" things with them and will let a coach go to a certain point before issuing a technical foul; while over in the 2nd Region their officials do not allow such "discussing". I know one of our coaches playing in a regular season game got a "T" by calmly asking a ref about a call and the ref quickly assessed a technical foul. Should be fun as the 1st Region has a few longtime coaches that love to "talk" to officials during the game.

All regions sould switch.

Great post bandit!!! I feel like all regions should get out of the rut of calling certain ways for teams that they have called for 15 times that year.

 

I heard a 10th region coach play a 16th team the other day and he said that he felt like it was the weakest officials he had seen all year. The same girls team from that high school played another 16th team and that coach told me the exact same thing. The 16th has really got a long way to go. they need to learn how to allow the game to get tougher and more physical allthewhile making safe. It can be done and hopefully it will get there.

Whoever gets the officials from the 11th, prepare to play football without pads.

 

10th and 11th region officials will stay in the 10th and 11th.

I agree please help us I feel like we drowning in bad calls, I almost can't breath.

As a coach, I feel that we have our officials in the Districts so what is the difference if we have them in the Region? Our officials call all year long, Seeded District games, All A games and the District tourney, So why go out for the Region, just so we can have some other Region come in and change things up. Whether it be for the better or for the worst, which in most cases it's the ladder. I hate sending our officials somewhere else. We have some of the top officials in the state and I don't think that we should send them to another Region where they will call a great game, and we have to get officials from where ever that don't care how they call because they have no ratings involved here and don't have to see these people again. Some officials go to other regions and think it's a big party and just don't do the job that is required of them. I am all for staying in your own region because of some of the reasons mentioned.

THATS GOOD ,DON'T CARE FOR THOSE TOUCH FOULS IN THE 16TH.

 

I believe from top to bottom the BBA officials that cover the 10th and 11th are as good as it gets. I've played in and been a part of games in every region across the state and I think these are as good as any.

The 9th got the 5th or 6th last year, will get them this year, and we love them! The officials that we had let the players play.

I could only pray that the 8th would switch with someone. But I would hate to do that to basketball players & fans out there.

It was the fifth, and indeed they did outstanding and I posted as such last year. Hopefully we get the same crews back.
