Heard second hand from the best source available today that it should be wrapped up the next couple of days.:thumb:

If this game is played it will be played at UC Nippert Stadium.

Based on what I know, we've been told that we will play in the Herbstreit, but have not received a contract yet. Things are "held up" while the Herbstreit folks negotiate with UC. Evidently UC wants to charge more for the use of Nippert than the organizers can afford to pay. If they don't come to an agreement, then the games get moved to Dayton's Welcome Stadium, which evidently could affect some of the contract issues. Frankly, if I was the UC head football coach, I'd do every thing I could to convince the powers that be to let them use Nippert for free just to get the kids on campus to see the facilities.

Man, i hope everybody involved are able to work out the details. This would be a huge game for Highlands and any future games to be invited to. I guess we will have to sit back and wait. Fire up the Short Bus baby!!!!!!!:thumb:

From what I've heard, the new facilities at UC will be huge in attracting recruits. You'd think they would want to show off to as many kids as possible. Hope it happens.

Did they add some new facilities. I agree, they should be having as many games as possible there to attract future propects.:thumb:

If you are waiting for me to respond, I only know what I previously posted. We've been told we are in (which one can logically interpret as meaning the games will be played). Then again, we don't have a signed contract yet, so as we all learned with the Conner situation, its possible that we might not be playing in it if it happens. Just sit back, take a deep breath, tend to other things more important right now and relax:banana:. When I hear something definite, I'll post it.
