🗞 | Both teams are unbeaten in the district, meaning the trophy lands at the feet of the winner here. Owensboro is getting its health in order, which spells trouble for everyone in its path as they begin their push for a repeat. Sandidge will run like the devil is chasing him. Whether that's behind the line of scrimmage or forty yards downfield, remains to be seen. He's been a high impact player this season, but hasn't left much of an impression on the Devils before.

📍 | Rash Stadium, where the Red Devils are 55-8 since 2018. Only the likes of CAL, St. X, O-Cath, and Bowling Green have left victorious.

📖 | The history books show a 56-15-4 all-time lead for Owensboro. Ganaway cooked Madisonville's defense for nearly 400 yards and six touchdowns in a 61-7 thrashing last year.

It was hard to gauge against Apollo(w/o starting QB) but MNH looks to be a tad bit better overall this year than last year. The defense if physical. That 53-19 win over Henderson is pretty impressive too. MNH Oline is pretty solid and gives me some worry. Plus Sandidge is a great runner. Picking right up where Hightower left off. If the Devils don’t come ready to play he can really make them pay.

Having a healthy Green for O I don’t think Sandidge breaks for as many big plays as he would w/o him. He’s going to have a few good runs but I’m not sure he and supporting cast can do enough to keep pace with Owensboro. Having Gway Jr back makes this offense that much harder to stop. Maroons defense will be stretched thin all night. Devils win at home by a few scores.

I have been impressed by Madisonville and I think they can push the Devils but I don’t see them being in this game late. Owensboro is getting healthy and they have a chance to make a statement. I will go Owensboro 42-14

I think it’s bigger than this. I really do.

I don’t see Madisonville pushing us around at all. If they do then Pulaski will bully us. Just my take.

Pulaski has one of if not the best Oline in 5A, maybe even the state. I’m sure they bully anybody they play… A 42-14 victory over MNH is a solid win. Have to give them some respect only team to beat them is Paducah Tilghman. Outside of PT and Graves they’ve dominated everyone else.

I think tonight is a statement game from Owensboro to show they are still right there at the top of 5A. Maybe people have had them there all along, maybe not, but they are getting healthy at the right time. I look for the Devils to roll tonight, 49-7.
