If Talbert is out, I'm taking Madison Central in a close one. Talbert plays then I like Frederick Douglass.

Same. He was a huge factor in last year's game. Without him, I think the Indians defend home turf.

Madison Central home games are streamed on WBON TV's YouTube channel. A direct link won't be available until they go live Friday night, but here's a link to the channel itself. 🔗: https://youtube.com/

Of course. For sure. Players gotta turn the other cheek. And if you make a play, don't aim your energy/excitement at the other team.

I was told the same crew that threw out Driver in the Boyle Lex Cath game, threw out Talbert in the FD game.

Is this a state semi preview?

Coach Smith and I split in picking the winners. Both play excellent defense and are among the top 6A programs in KY. Would not be surprised to see both teams make deep runs in November. Other than Trinity, may be the two top 6A Teams for 2026. A crazy good game would be to see either play CAL.

I'm pretty hyped for this one. I picked the Indians, but they're the more unproven of the two. I want to see what MC looks like in a big game atmosphere with Douglass in town.

MC has some studly looking captains.

    Is Talbert playing?

I'm guessing no.... he hasn't appeared on their opening drive so far.

Interesting stat the Indians had yet to punt in their first 6 games and their first 2 possessions of this game they have punted with only 1 first down.

Touchdown Douglass on their 2nd drive and the Broncos led 7-0 with 2:50 in the first quarter.
