Ryle at Christian Academy of Louisville

The Ryle Raiders hit the road Friday night for one of their toughest tests of the season against the defending Class 3A state champion Christian Academy of Louisville.

Ryle enters 1-2 after being shut out 11-0 by Cooper last Friday, the first shutout in the history of the Ryle-Cooper series.

CAL is 3-0 and has been dominant, outscoring opponents 159-21. The Centurions have posted consecutive shutouts of Pikeville (41-0) and Owensboro (52-0) before defeating Lexington Christian 66-21 last week.

CAL also holds a 2-1 advantage all-time against Ryle, including a 34-27 victory in Union last season.

CAL gets their 4th consecutive 1st half running clock. It's homecoming for the Centurions so there should be a good crowd. This series will continue on for at least 2 more years after this one, which I think is good for both programs. Outside of this year's expected lopsided contest, this has been a very competitive series between the two programs.
