I was looking at what it would take to be #1 in the Nation and IMG Academy (FL) is #1 and their rating is 50 pts higher than Trinity so based on that IMG would put a running clock on Trinity. That's crazy to think considering how good Trinity is.

It's crazy how much ahead of the pack those traditional national powers are. I'd love for an IMG to come to Louisville to play Trinity, but I don't think it would go well for the Rocks.

Also, pretty cool to see the absolute GOAT back at Marshall Stadium. I had a chance to say hello to Coach Bob Beatty. The 2011 national championship team was recognized. Some DUDES on that team.

What's brutal is I doubt the gap is that wide, and if Trinity wins those 2 very close, very winnable games (should have won and I am still salty), they would have been considered top 25 to start the season this year. So much is affected by preseason rankings which are affected by prior year's performance. I wouldn't be shocked if the players recognize that fact and feel the disrespect and end up taking it out on the Crusaders this Friday.

Hard to believe any high school team would beat the Shamrocks by 50.

Maybe not 50 but could get running clock threshold. IMG is loaded with 3,4,5 stars so basically like an all-star team.

I hear you/I know.

With the temperatures expected in the upper 90s on Friday, would this game be pushed to a later time?

I think the potential is high. Which will be the determining factor if we go or watch at home.

Not quite 50. Using hsratings.com's predict-a-matchup tool, they have IMG theoretically beating Trinity 42-17.

I believe Moeller has moved on from the junior QB who started against Princeton to a sophomore QB. If it is the same kid I saw as the QB for last years Moeller freshman team, he is going to be a good varsity QB.

Looks like the game has been moved to 8:00
