With scorers you accept the fact that they are going to get their points which Lofton did. If they keep the rest of the team (Chism, Bradshaw, Smith, Crews, etc) in check you win. UK didn't do that.

While I want a pass first PG, I want someone who can score enough to keep the defense offense. He doesn't just pass first.. He passes second, third, and fourth too... And then, when all else fails... He passes.

February 14, 200719 yr Mehh, almost. I like Thomas more than a lot of people do. He doesn't score, but he does a lot of little things very well... His rebounding has been key many times. Bobby Perry had his name mentioned a lot in the 1st half over the radio, but it seems like everytime I heard his name it was "Perry with the turnover" or "turnover by Perry"... Sometimes I heard "Perry throws it away" and that was a rare treat... Nice to see them change it up a bit. Its sad its even a discussion that a walkon player that called YOU is a top option for any position. The ESPN crew called Perry the "weak link" in the first half. I tend to like Thomas as well. Hard worker. Hustles after the ball. Gets on the glass. If you're not gonna score (neither he, Perry, or Stevenson do) then at least do the other stuff.
