I can barely stomach the one race, hopefully there will not be any "cheating" or PED allegations after the race.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.  Pagan cannot be this teams closer.  He just can't get it done.  Not sure if the Reds have anyone in the organization that can be, but I would much rather se

Reds get shutout once again and lose tonight 10-0. We are still 0 for the month of May. We have been outscored so far this month 60-23. The Reds have lost 8 in a row and 8 of their last 9 game and now are just 1 game over .500.

From Lance:

Astros 10 Cincinnati Reds 0

The repeated boos told the story from GABP. Make it eight straight losses. It was embarrassing. How embarrassing? Jose Trevino pitched….again.

Some guy named Mike Burrows tossed a career best seven innings, allowing the Reds no runs on three hits. He entered the game with an ERA of 5.04.

The Reds (20-19) have been outscored 60-23 during the losing streak.

They have dropped 10 of 12.

The Astros have 14 players on the IL and stand 16-23.

Tony Santillan pitched batting practice in the 8th, allowing four runs and two homers in failing to retire a batter,

Nick Lodolo made his season debut, allowing two two-run homers over 5.1 innings, showing no signs of blister issues,

Flow: Down 2-0 2nd, 4-0 6th, 5-0 8th, 10-0 9th.

Offense: 5 H, 1 BB, 8 K

Elly: 2 H

Lodolo: 5.1 IN, 5 H, 4 R, 1 BB, 2 K, 2 2-R HR, 78 pitches/53 strikes.

Hit a batter w/ 2 strikes then Alvarez homered to make 4-0.

Bullpen: Johnson 1.2, Antone 1.0, R, Santillan 0.0, 4 R, Trevino 1.0, R

The Reds and Chase Burns trail the Astors today 1-0 in the top of the 5th inning. Burns just gave up a solo shot.

Reds answer back in the bottom of the 5th and put 3 runs up on a two-run single by McLain and a RBI single by Elly.

3-1 reds after 7.

Here's where it gets scary. What relievers are going to step up and get it done?

The losing streak is over! Reds get their first win of the month a 3-1 win. Now get the series win tomorrow!

The rubber game of the series tomorrow with the first pitch at 1:40pm. Go Reds!

We got the bleeding stopped, but will the tourniquet hold for very long?

Reds so far looking good today as they are up 5-0 after 7 innings. A strong outing by Abbott.
