I can barely stomach the one race, hopefully there will not be any "cheating" or PED allegations after the race.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.  Pagan cannot be this teams closer.  He just can't get it done.  Not sure if the Reds have anyone in the organization that can be, but I would much rather se

Reds now trailing 10-3. The Pirates have scored 5 runs this inning and never hit a ball out of the infield no hits and no Reds errors. This has been a very strange few days in sports with some of the NBA games and now this.

Ugh..

If the pitching wasn't bad enough the Reds offense has struck out six straight times with 2 outs in the top of the 4th inning. I hope I am wrong but we may be starting our first real team slump of the season.

It is now 15-3 Pirates and remarkably they have batted around now in 3 of the 4 innings. Also, we have only played 3 and 2/3 innings and the Reds have thrown 150 pitches. When I think it cannot get any worse it continues to do so. Plus the Pirates have 15 runs and have not hit a home run.

So true am just killing time until the Kentucky Derby. A lot of excitement in Woodford Co. where I teach there are 11 horses in the field either from or bred on a farm in Woodford Co. The Oaks winner was from Three Chimneys Farm in Woodford.

We kicked another FG and are only down 15-6 in the 6th.

We lost 17-7.  Sure looks like a football score.

Reds fall as @theguru would say by a touchdown and a FG 17-7. In 3 of their last 4 games the Reds have been outscored 39-10. In those games the Reds pitching have given up 13, 9, and 17.

Reds option Hinds to AAA. Probably the end of his chances regardless how it goes down in Louisville. They call up Blake Dunn instead of Marte.

Pitching is a lot better today but still nothing with the sticks. The pitching of Chase Burns having only allowed two Pirate hits with just 0 walks and 5 K's. The problem is the Reds only have 2 hits as well.

Reds have the best inning so far today. A base hit by Steer and a double by Trevino and the Reds have runners at 2nd and 3rd and just 1 out.

The Reds failed to get a run across McLain hit a week grounder to third and Steer was thrown out at home and the Friedl struck out to end the inning.
