May 30, 200719 yr One of my favorite matches of all time was between Brock Lesnar and The Big Show I think it was on Smackdown a few years ago when Brock Lesnar superplexed The Big Show from the second rope and the ring collapsed. That was an amazing finish. Found the video. I remember that match and it was too cool when the ring collasped.
May 31, 200719 yr I see some of the threadsters on here remember some of the same wrestling I used to watch like the ol' NWA, and Southern Championship Wrestling. SCW used to be on Channel 18 WLEX in Lexington every Saturday at NOON. Some Wrestlers I remmeber back then was: Jerry "The King" Lawler, Bill "Superstar" Dundee(Classic matches with and against each other), Austin Idol, "Wildfire" Tommy Rich, Buddy Landell, Dirty Dutch Mantell, The Dream Machine Troy Graham, The Rock n Roll Express Rick Gibson and Ricky Morton, Pro. Taru Tananka, Hansome Jimmy Valiant, The very first match of The Freebirds Michael Hayes and Terry Gordy, Terry Funk, The Midnight Rockers Marty Jannetty and Shawn Michaels, Koko Ware(later with Norvel Austin to form PYT: Pretty Young Things), Jerry and Jeff Jarrett, Dr. Tom Pritchird. Some of the ol' NWA that came on Channel 12 WKRC ...American Dream Dusty Rhodes, Tully Blanchard, Ivan and Nikita Koloff, The Road Warriors,Magnum T.A, Rick Flair and the rest of the 4 Horseman(great matches with this group).
May 31, 200719 yr I don't follow wrestling any longer but since so many people mentioned Sabu I thought I would share I was in the same hospital room with him recently. I don't want to get too personal but I will say Sabu needed some help, he got the help, and went on his way without incident. However, having dealt with Brian Pillman twice in law enforcement encounters I couldn't help but see a lot of similarities.

Luger never put him in the torture rack, but he did body slam him and was the only person to do that. Hulk Hogan even attempted and failed.

Mitchell ( I beleive) that it was Jimmy Snuka who bailed him out? That is what I remember. Could be wrong. I found that interesting because they were at the height of their feud at that time. Remember "Piper's Pit" when he slammed the coconut against his head!!:creepy:

I don't want to get too personal but I will say Sabu needed some help, he got the help, and went on his way without incident. However, having dealt with Brian Pillman twice in law enforcement encounters I couldn't help but see a lot of similarities. Not surprising. He was just released from the WWE a few weeks ago for violating the "Wellness" Policy. Not to mention he was arrested for smoking weed just up the road from me in Hanging Rock, Ohio last summer after an ECW House Show in Huntington. Guys got some issues.
