Reds win! Reds blow a 5-3 lead but win in extra innings 6-5 to improve to 1-1 the rubber match is tomorrow afternoon.

 

I didn't see the game but this came across my feed.  The roar of the crowd was hilarious! 

Also, CB Buckner is a terrible umpire and I hope this encourages him to hurry up and get out of the game.

He is terrible and just about as bad in the field. I thought he missed 3 calls on Thursday on first base in just the first inning!

It will be interesting to see if MLB uses lost challenges as an evaluator for umpires.

He's 63 and has been an umpire for 30 years.  He's multiple times been voted in surveys as the worst umpire in baseball and has been widely known to have a terrible strike zone for as long as I can remember.  He's had all the tools to figure it out before - I have no faith he'll do it now.

Reds win the first series of the season over a good Red Sox's team as they will the rubber match today 3-2 on a 3-run homer by Eugenio Suarez. Next up the Reds begin a 3-game series against the Pirates tomorrow at 6:40pm. Go Reds!!

Can't complain too much about a 2-1 start.  Better than 1-2 or 0-3.   If they can take 2 of three games most of the year, it will be a good one.
