The Reds start off the season with hosting the Boston Red Sox's in a 3 game series over 4 days as Friday is an off day. I am not sure the Reds announced 2 weeks ago that Andrew Abbott would be the opening day starter. The Red Sox's are starting Garrett Crochet. Go Reds!

I think the Reds can win opening day but will lose the series, Boston will be good again. Happy for Andrew to be the starter on Opening Day, hope the Reds can win them all. 

First pitch of the season is a base hit for the Red Sox's. But it was eliminated on a double play.

3-0 Red Sox headed into the home 9th.   Pitching held strong until the later innings.  Cincinnati has generated ZERO offense.

I just watched a repeat of last year.

The Reds will not be selling beer this year.

I am pleasantly shocked my new cable provider Spectrum is providing a channel that is only on when the Reds are playing plus as soon as the game is over they are showing the replay.

Today (3/28/26) do we get to witness the new Reds or will it be the old Reds?  Sure would be nice if the new Reds were introduced today.
