Alabama PG, Aden Holloway, arrested on drug charges.  Removed from the team pending investigation.

I guess his NIL deal wasn't large enough.

I looked at a Yahoo article about it and that amount is clearly for a purpose:

Authorities reportedly found 2.1 pounds of marijuana at Holloway’s apartment, per ESPN. That figure is significant, as 2.2 pounds would have resulted in a drug-trafficking charge in Alabama.

Either way, he just threw away a gig making a lot more money than he would get selling weed. Some of these guys are just too dumb to be well paid and that may never change.

Thank goodness he smoked a couple before the raid to get that stash below 2.2 pounds.

Maybe it was his week to buy for all the homies.  Just think if we arrested college students for keg parties.

I am not advocating for that (arrests) but that is part of the issue here too.  The more crime (specially drug/alcohol crime) the authorities ignore, the more you are going to get. 

Now for balance here, I think both weed and alcohol should be legal for everyone once they turn 18.

That is my point.  Weed is legalized in some way for much of the country.  While that is a lot...I have been apart of buying 10 kegs for a nice 300 person banger.  That was a lot also.
