February 12, 200719 yr Well see Im a old school kind of guy that looks at Billy D. as the enemy. He coaches Florida the Rival to U.K. the bad guys. I am a Fan that Stands by My Team and My Coach...I have been following UK basketball for over 30 years and I may not have agreed with Joe B.,Eddie Sutton and Ricky P.all of the time,but I always supported them! I never once said I wish we could get rid of our coach so we can replace them with someone eles.So I do not care what Billy D. has done or is doing.He is not my coach and I don't want him to be my Coach,because I already have a great coach.I am a True Blue Die hard UK Basketball Fan.:ylsuper: :thumb: :ylsuper: Now this is a "True" U.K. fan!! I do however think that Donovan is a very good coach and an excellent recruiter. The facts are that Tubby is probably here for as long as Tubby wants to be here. "If" Donovan or whoever come in as the next coach I will support them as well. To me that is what a being a Fan means! For all of the bashers out there I have suggestion.....Why don't you send your resume to Mr. Barnhart and see if you can get an interview for the U.K. basketball coaching job?? Then we all could log on and discuss the job you are doing. :sssh: :sssh: I know that there are others that feel differently and have every right to and they are still U.K. fans, I just don't understand it myself and that is o.k. too. February 12, 200719 yr I agree its not likely but you gotta believe Tubby is nearing the end of whatever career he chooses. He probably has 10 seasons left with whatever he does. Will he be able to bring back UK in 10 seasons, or will the slumping seasons and criticism become to much? He could try 2-3 years in the NBA see if he has success, make a boat load of money, not really face the heat he has at UK, and if all goes terrible.. retire to Florida. I am sure that Donna and he are evaulating his options. Tubby has been at UK for what 11 years now? He has to figure out what he is going to do down the stretch and into the finish line.

Donavan had expressed interest on a talk show I was listening to the other day. What are your thoughts? Where do you come up with this stuff?
