This was really good. One of those books that you could imagine being a good movie or miniseries.

Will not call it “life changing. “ But it is confirming a direction I have been moving in has some huge positives. Just getting started, but right now…. Would recommend. 
 

If anyone has read it and has some thoughts, would enjoy hearing what you think. 
 

I like books that ficus on one thing. I read “Salt” and to me it was fascinating

Very much so. There was a miniseries version on FX a few years ago that was really well done.

This was very good. Its an oral history collection from a University of Louisville professor about desegregation, busing, and other issues in JCPS from the 1950s to 2007. It also helps shed some light on issues that still exist in the school system. I'm guessing there are hard copies in libraries but I read it on Hoopla. I think @theguru @TheDeuce and @Colonels_Wear_Blue would all enjoy it.

I used to be able to read a book I found just mildly interesting in days when I was younger. Anymore I can’t get past 3-4 pages without having to go back and re-read those pages because I lose concentration, or I get on the internet to look up a person or location. Then is spend several minutes on that , rinse and repeat. 
 

Has anyone tried audiobooks? I listen to a lot of podcasts at work and working around the house. 

What I love about Chuck Klosterman, whether I agree or disagree with him, is that he always makes me think.
