  • In most people's mind, CAL is going to win this one going away. I agree they should be the clear cut favorite, but, I could also see Murray making this game a lot more competitive than most think. The

Instead of victory formation CAL threw it again to Stoner and he made it to the Murray 17.  Just wow and it is going to be very hard for me ever to root for CAL again.

That is absolutely terrible! Shame on them! One day that will come back to haunt them. Obviously not anytime soon. lol

I’m having a hard time understanding that last sequence of events. Not a great look.

What was the point of that, with starters, when the clock could have run out?

Not really anything new for CAL. It’s the way most, if not all games have gone the past few years as far as not pulling starters goes.

I understand on not pulling the starters when Murray is playing a bunch of men and they are still in the game.  Plus, it is cold I don't know that I want to subject kids to that for a few plays.  It is the passing and more passing when victory formation would have been sufficient.

Very good year for Murray Tigers. Hate that western Kentucky went 0-2 but it has to still be exciting to make it and play for a state championship.

And I am not here to defend them. I will say you are correct both teams had starters in and the 2 passes went to a senior that was hurt the last two years  (too young before that) and a senior captain playing his last game…ever. They weren’t picking on a hapless team, Murray is the 2nd best 3A team in the state. I get your point but there are always 2 sides to every story.

Thanks for that information but we will have to agree to disagree on this one.
