  • Touchdown Raceland.  Waller scrambles before finding Jonah Arnett for from 32 yards away. 7-0 ?  6:44 1Q

I hate to say it because I want Raceland to get that title. The program has been so good for so many years it feels like they have earned a title. But, I have this thought I can't ignore that the Rams win this game then lose the title game. I am rooting for the Rams to wipe that thought out and finally get that title.

I can't shake the feeling that Pikeville has a psychological edge over Raceland. It goes beyond the bodies on the field. When the Panthers staged that furious rally in September, I thought "there went Raceland's chance to tip the scales".

Pikeville's staff knows how to craft a game plan to beat the Rams and they've seen them once already. They took Raceland's best punch and still won.

When Pikeville sees Raceland across the field, they become the best version of themselves. I have a feeling it happens again this week.

I’m not gonna lie, that has been my prediction. I'm glad it’s not just me. I do think in this Pikeville game that the Rams have that extra fuel knowing they had Pikeville dead to right and was ALL them until that Lightning delay in that first game. To come back out and lose that game and have that thorn in there side all season.

TP94 Power Ratings (11/26)

Pikeville 56.77
Raceland 55.09
Campbellsville 51.84
KY Country Day 51.14

What can Raceland do differently to keep Pikevilles offense from picking up where they left off last game? Will they stick to the same game plan and do normal Raceland things or will they adjust to what Pikeville had success on? Seems to me in this series Pikeville has always made the in game adjustments to find a way to win, will Raceland finally flip the script and be able to beat the Goliath of 1A football?

Crazy thought, but that Pikeville loss (the way it happened) might be the best medicine that has happened to the Rams this year.

Not crazy at all if you ask me...but it sounds like you have been in a locker room or two...?

In the first matchup, Waller was 11/14 for 100 passing yards and Stiltner ran for 100 yards.  I really think we are going to see a Pikeville game plan to stop Stiltner and we will see Marushi on a mission.  Marushi has been running with a renewed purpose the last few weeks and I expect a big game from him.  Arnette will be in the mix for the change up.  Wouldn't be surprised to see some passing yardage to go with that.

Pikeville's Reynolds threw for over 200 yards and Justice ran for 70 yards.  No one else for Pikeville threatened in the running game.  Raceland's coaching staff, over the last 10 years, have always been able to stop a single back.  I expect Justice to have more trouble getting to 70 yards this time around.  I expect Pikeville to rely heavily on the passing game.   Raceland has 11 INTs this season and Goodall has 5.

Another question, are both teams healthy? They both have had brutal schedules.

Any live streams for this one?
