Glad to see this game was played early and T made quick work of it as Allen “LA” Evans has a visit to Ann Arbor for “THE GAME” since Wolverines offered this week after visiting Ohio State last week.

He’s in for a great experience of the Greatest Rivalry in all of sports.

  • RPI is a flawed system. Using HSratings.com or  TP94 Ratings would both have Ryle at Trinity and South Warren at St. X. RPI rewards you for playing a weaker schedule because has no margin of victory c

  • It is like we have chatted about on BGP recently, the KHSAA is slowly going downhill and you see it more and more.

This was Trinitys 7th straight running clock game, and 4 in a row scoring at least 50 points. That's impressive for the playoffs. As a matter of fact, only 4 of their games weren't running clock, and 3 of those were vs oos opponents.

I thought that was last night on Poplar Level?

In all seriousness he is the most highly recruited Trinity student I can remember and he's only a junior. Proud of the kid and know he will have success in the future. This might be the most talent-laden Trinity squad I've seen and that is saying a lot, especially considering they are returning a lot next year. They've hit another gear these past few weeks that could leave some scratching their heads about how they are not undefeated.

X had some DUDES as well. Busch and Harbin are animals and I'm curious to see where Busch ends up and wish them all the best in their next steps.

Trinity statman needs to post last nights game totals, please. Riherd’s gives the common fan the access to review this information that the local newspaper has chosen to ignore. Thanking you in advance for your contribution.

Riherd’s updated by Trinity! 333 yards of offense by Trinity and 150 yards by St. Xavier.

X lost both Freshman Games, Both JV games, and got beat handily in both Varsity games.  Is this the lowest point of the program in a long time?

I hope when the day comes that Jay Cobb announces his retirement there's a team out there that can absolutely smoke his team to end their season and send him walking off the field for a final time on the losing side of a running clock.

Just sayin.

JV only played once and was 3 pt game. The frosh games were close as well with a 7 pt loss and 3 pt loss. I've seen years where Trinity has blown out St. X at JV and Frosh level so definitely not the lowest. Trinity varsity is exceptional and will blow out probably every Kentucky team. Trinity has a lot of junior contributors so they will be very good again next year. I think in two years St. X can be competitive and looking at freshman defenses for both teams going to be some low scoring games in two years.

Keep 'Hopen'.

I guess we should have taken a knee every snap after we went up 14-7.  That might have kept them in the game. LOL

Harbin is on another level.  Great TD catch and run.  And he has to be right at the top of the Mr. Football Conversation.

T deep pass completion to the X 25.

Being a Louisville recruit hurts his chances.

And there "might" be a team that does just that. But it won't be as glorious as it was for Cobb against X. Stay salty.

Once upon a time there was another T HC who did the same thing to previous X coaches -  and that did not come to pass.

Just sayin.
