My Steelers friends called to know if I had seen the video of Chase spitting on Ramsey that resulted in the punch, helmet grab and game eviction.  Chase denies he spit, but the end close up clearly shows the spit.  Now in this day of AI we no longer know what is real and what has been doctored.  If real, Chase is going to most certainly draw a one game suspension. $$$$$$

Reprehensible, and he outright lied about it.  Which was bold, knowing how many cameras there are out there.

If this off season wasn’t disappointing enough.  If the defense hasn’t been bad enough.  If the injuries haven’t been unlucky enough.  
 

it just keeps coming.  THIS is an embarrassment.  
 

Bengals are a hard organization and team to like and root for.  It’s sad.  Personally, I am not sure how much more of my time and money I can give them.  

One of the most enjoyable parts of my day yesterday was not watching them. It gave me time to focus on other things around the house that I have neglected to watch that train wreck. They are the most embarrassing team/organization in the NFL. 

All of these fans continue to show up and show out for this team/organization and all they do is laugh in the fans faces all the way to the bank to cash their checks.

If the video is real (AI makes everything questionable) it was certainly a disgusting and previously thought out of character thing for Chase to do.  There will be both public and unspoken marketing opportunities lost in addition to the unpaid game suspension and fine. $$$$$$$

They need to make an example out of him. So other players don't do it.

It's bad enough to spit. It's even worse to lie about it. I am a Bengals fan. What a joke of a team. I hope they lose every game the rest of the season. 

This whole situation is kind of blowing up on ESPN…Pat McAfee did 10+ minutes on it.  Precedent of 1 game was set earlier in the year (not sure of player?).  This will financially cost Chase more than many make in a lifetime, plus the bad example set for our younger generation.  Chase needs a crisis manager that will guide him to own it now before this mushrooms into even more.  I was hoping it was AI.

Suspended only one game.

I was watching this game with a couple of 20 somethings that are going to the game next week.  When this all went down I went on a rant about why I like the NFL less and less, how the players are out of control, how the officials/NFL allow these players to push and shove and whatever, often times without consequence, the poor example it is to all young people, why I refuse to buy tickets or go to a game any longer (I was a long time season ticket holder), the NFL being greedy requiring us to subscribe to multiple services to watch all the games, and my general disdain for the NFL.

Also, I don't think one game is a severe enough punishment and if the Bengals traded Chase I would be happy about it.

Seems standard for the act at this point.  The guy from Philly got a game for it as well.   It needs to be more but for now it seems the NFL likes a game.
