As it shouldn't.....Last Years Pulaski Co. Playoff game had 6600 Viewers. That's a lot of Coin left on the table!

That is also a lot of fans that are going to be ticked, not pay crazy fee and will be a little less enthusiastic about the program.  For the 50-75 that pay to view they will be just excited to see the game and the fee will be meaningless.  For that level of fee one would expect a Glicod quality with replays, experienced announcers and game stats.

Totally agree, as painful of a performance it was down at Boyle Co when Rio's stat line was 11/31 for 144 yards, 2 TD/1 INT He has overcome and outperformed ever since.... Litmer's stats sin

I agree but doing it in a rush where you can't even get the pricing correct while using a third party system is a tough start.

It's $8.00 to get in, so just come to the game.

You have to figure in gas, popcorn, coke, etc.

Boyle had a very high quality student broadcast for the playoff  game last year against CovCath, did they charge to watch live? I caught it the next day.

No they did not.  Most games have a game sponsor.

This one will be lucky to get 66 viewers.

66 viewers that will have to mute the broadcast & will experience vertigo from all the camera switching (at inopportune moments)! Lol

Now there is a novel idea.  Where is this money actually going is what I want to know.  Just to football or the entire athletic department.

$8.00 + $3.49 = $11.49

Is that for one gallon of gas?  What about the yummies?

Right, it is a student broadcast with some shortcomings, not really a pay to play production.  It could be in the future but that requires Highlands to up their game.

Don’t bring logic into the puzzle.  Some may get real confused a la $ 8 that magically turns into 11.49.

Without knowing the facts and only taking a guess, haven't you paid a service fee to the company someone is partnering with? I'm sure Hudl would like to make a few bucks as well.

OK, to answer where the money is going to:

The email (from Wes AD) stated it will be going to the Athletic Department and the Broadcasting Department.

You can see all the paid advertisements hanging around the Cecil Memorial Stadium, I’d imagine those same people would help to sponsor a high quality broadcast as well. The question is “Do we want to sacrifice the students doing these games to go with adults who do a better job?”.

If I was going to pay for a broadcast I’d want one like Boyle Co put on.

Back to the game, Highlands wins comfortably unless they decide to get cute and turn the ball over.
