What are the details on this?

A couple things…

1. I’m trying to post the Hudl link but not working the way I want

2. it looks to me that it’s going to cost $11.49 to subscribe to watch this game NOT the $8 that was communicated by the Highlands AD via email….  So I don’t know whose right or wrong on the price ?‍♂️

Stay tuned, big point here is that there will NOT be a free option to watch this game via streaming.

Totally agree, as painful of a performance it was down at Boyle Co when Rio's stat line was 11/31 for 144 yards, 2 TD/1 INT He has overcome and outperformed ever since.... Litmer's stats sin

  • I can provide updates....for $8.  Signup through my app, it'll only be $11.49.?

  • Coach Sphire along Athletic Director Wes Caldwell are first class. Enjoyed the opportunity to meet both. Despite having known about Coach Sphire for a number of years, this was my first time meeting h

As it shouldn't.....Last Years Pulaski Co. Playoff game had 6600 Viewers. That's a lot of Coin left on the table!

Totally understandable....  2 things

1. Just the messenger here making sure people that want to watch it know where to go and that it will cost a fee and NOT be free....  if you read a disgruntled tone you are mistaken....

2. I personally just want to know if its the $8 Wes (AD) stated it would be via email or will it be $11.49 which it states on the hudl link....

Last week had 2500 viewers for Greenup.

Is there a $3.49 service fee maybe?

Totally disagree. Last week there were 2500 viewers or so. Ashland will bring even more viewers.

But it was free last week, right?

Whatever metric you are using you won't get 10% that amount if you are charging.  That is all I am saying.  Of course thousands and thousands of us are interested in this game.

There is no metric yet as it has never been attempted. I wish they would have began charging much sooner. This will allow them to put better quality standards in place and provide more funding to athletics. At least they are attempting it now to put a budget in place for next season.

It would be interesting to compare with Cov Cath that is about $15 per game. How many viewers do they get per game?

No metric huh, sure are a lot of numbers flying around.

Nothing wrong with charging, especially when there are fees from the KHSAA involved.

It would be hard to compare the Highlands broadcasts to the CovCath broadcasts, the CovCath broadcasts are much, much higher quality.

Gotta start somewhere.

I meant no metric to compare on how many will actually pay. If 2500 tuned in last week and we lose 1500 viewers you are still making a good chunk of change and maybe a few extra folks head to the stadium instead of watching at Pedrino's.

Why would it be hard to compare with Cov Cath? Are people really tuning in for quality at this level? Maybe I am an outlier but I don't care about the "Quality". If I can't make a game give it to me for free or lower cost. Just want to see the game. Does anyone know how many tuned in to CCH vs. Boyd last week? Genuinely curious.

I agree but doing it in a rush where you can't even get the pricing correct while using a third party system is a tough start.

Doing quick math if Highlands gets 1000 people to pay for the Ashland/Highlands game I will drive to Fort Thomas and give you a big kiss and hug. j/k

On CovCath, I have no idea but I doubt they give that information out freely.
