Sayre answered back. 28-24

Sayre answers with a long drive and Middlesboro is still up 28-24 in the third.

Middles drives inside the 10 and Sayre stops them on downs.

Sayre throws on 4th and 2 and throws a pick 6.

Sayre kicks field goal and it’s good. 34-27. Onside kick time.

Now that’s the ball game. 34-27 Final.

That was impressive. Middlesboro undefeated in the regular season.

Congrats Middlesboro. They play really good at home.

Great game and hats off to Middlesboro. Undefeated season is hard to achieve!

Congrats to Middlesboro.  Really glad to see Coach French go out swinging.  Hope they make a deep run!!

IMO, the Jackets have been flying under the radar all year. This win should show that they're capable of beating these top 1a teams on any given night. Hope they do well in the playoffs and make a deep run.

I've got a quick question if someone can answer it.

If a district #2 or 3 seed is ranked higher in the RPI than a district winner and they were to play in the quarter finals, would the higher RPI be the home team or would being a district champion take precedence over the RPI rank? Thanks in advance.

Higher RPI hosts no matter the regular season result. It’s happened a few times in recent years.
