The NLCS & ALCS are next up with the ALCS beginning on Fox tomorrow at 8:03pm with the Mariners at Blue Jays. The NLCS will start on Monday night with the Dodgers at Brewers and it will be on TBS at 8:08pm.

I hope Mariners and Brewers with Mariners winning. Which means it will probably be Dodgers and Blue Jays with Dodgers winning.

Exactly how I feel! Mariners and Brewers are two of five teams to never win the World Series so it would be nice if one of them could win it. Honestly anybody but the Dodgers!

Mariners left two stranded in the top of the first they had a runner thrown at home and on replay looked to be safe but they did not challenge the call.

Bottom of the first the Blue Jays get a solo homer from Springer. It is 1-0 Toronto after 2 1/2 innings.

Still 1-0 Blue Jays after 5 innings these playoff games are taking a lot longer than regular season games one of the reasons in the commercials are 1.5-2 minutes longer between innings than they are in the regular season.

Mariners get two runs in the top of the 6th one off of a Raleigh homer and another on a single by Polanco.

The Mariners defeat the Blue Jays in game 1 of ALCS 3-1. The Mariners retired 24 or the last 25 batters in the game and their pitchers never threw 100 pitches in the game. The Blue Jays hit a homer on the first pitch of the game and they only got 1 hit the rest of the game. That was impressive by the Mariners pitching staff after the 13 inning game less than 48 hours ago.

The Mariners are leading the Blue Jays in game 2 of the ALCS 7-3 after 6 innings.

Now after 7.5 innings the Mariners now lead the Blue Jays 10-3.

The Mariners have taken control of the ALCS as they defeat the Blue Jays today 10-3 and they will be going back home to Seattle up 2-0 and will take on the Blue Jays in game 3 on Wednesday, Oct. 15th at 8:08pm first pitch.

The craziest play I’ve ever seen watching baseball. 
 

my main question is why was it a force out at 3rd if the base was unoccupied? What if the runners just stayed on 1st and 2nd on the fly out?
