Who is the best team in Cincinnati?

All this talk about Cincinnati teams. Who is the best team in Cincinnati?

Hard to argue against Elder. They have wins over Moeller, Cincinnati St. X. and LaSalle.  Anderson is the team you would have to compare to Elder for possibly being best in Cincinnati. Anderson is one class down from Elder and their schedule isn't even close to as difficult as Elder's, so no way to really make a case that holds any water that they are better than Elder.

I accidentally hit Anderson. I’d have to be on the Elder bandwagon at this point.

Anderson is an more explosive team. I don't think Elder could keep unworthy them.

Elder would probably look explosive too against their schedule. I think Anderson could win but I would take a team like Elder that has battled a much tougher schedule and won every game.

Could Anderson handle Elders size? The schedule is a legit argument as well. I watched their games against Cincy X and Moeller, and they looked very impressive. They don’t blow the doors off of anyone, they’re just methodical and patient.

When I went to Anderson we were 1-9 for the year. Times have changed. Anderson is not as big of school as they once were. Anderson always had athletes but they specialized in their sport.  Glad too see them get good at football. I know they won in 07 and went to the championship game in 08.

Anderson's strength of schedule compared to the other teams is glaring.

I’ll give X, Elder and La Salle credit, they stick with the two color uniform scheme which make them all look sharp in their home unis.

I've never really understood why Middletown gets lumped in with Cincinnati instead of Dayton. They're about 40 ish minutes from downtown Cincinnati and about 25 minutes from downtown Dayton.

I think it’s pretty even between Elder and Anderson with Elder being a little above Anderson. Elder’s strength of schedule is more impressive but I don’t put as much into that as I used to. A game between both would be fun to see.
