Ex Red Nick Castellanos doubles and the Phillies get on the board with an unearned run and lead 1-0 still in the top of the 7th.

Phillies turn around in the bottom of the 7th and walk in the tying run.

Still 1-1 and heading to extra innings. The Brewers and Cubs game is starting on TNT.

Heading to the 11th as both the Phillies and Dodgers go in order in the 10th. In case people are not aware in the playoffs it is old time baseball with no runner starting the inning on 2nd.

In the top of the 11th the Phillies leave Harper stranded on 2nd.

In the NLDS the Cubs have jumped out on the Brewers and are up 3-0 and still batting in the bottom of the first.

Dodgers have the bases loaded with two outs in the bottom of the 11th.

What a way to lose the game Pages breaks his bat on a slow roller to the pitcher Kerkering he bobbled it and panicked and try to get the runner at home and threw it away and the Dodgers win in 11th 2-1.

The game and the series. 

Should’ve been an easy out at first. I know these guys are pro’s, but I see this at my son’s “travel ball” games. The lack of situational awareness even at the lowest of levels is insane. They play so many games you may get 2hrs of practice a week. My son’s team last year didn’t work on anything but hitting and fielding. No situations at all. No one on the team knows how to bunt. 

Prevailing sentiment seems to be that he forgot there were two outs.  Who knows, I think in general he just panicked.  It is exactly the result I wanted so however it got done, glad it got done.

Now, anyone but the Dodgers for the Series....

I don't know if anyone else saw the post game interview with Andy Pages but boy it was a stretch to make his broken bat dribbler that was misplayed by the pitcher into some type of walk off heroics.

Today's game Tigers vs. Mariners at 8:08pm it is on Fox.

Tigers and Mariners 2-2 in the 8th.

Tigers have runner on 1st and two outs.

Mariners just tied game in bottom of the 7th.

Tense game!
