The Blue Jays dispose of the Yankees in 4 by winning tonight 5-2 to win the best of 5 in 4 games.

Let's see how New York blames this one on the Astros.

Got out of jam.

Bottom of 8th, Mariners trying to keep their dream alive.

Mariners bring in game 3 starter Gilbert to pitch relief for first time in his career.

FWIW playoffs do not place a runner on 2nd in the 10th inning like is done in regular season.

Mariners lead off bottom of 10th with a double on the first pitch.

3 outs to get him in and advance.

Broken bat bloop to 2nd for first out.

Top of the lineup now.

K two out, runner on 2nd. Julio Rodriguez 0 for 4 up to bat after Cal Raleigh was intentionally walked. He grounds out to SS.

On to 11th.

Tigers get hit and then Raleigh is charged with first passed ball of the season and runner advanced to 2nd.

Fly out next hitter.

Intentional walk, runners on 1st and 2nd with 1 out for Tigers.

Mariners, since I've been watching have thrown 95% sliders and split fingers.
