Correct. Everyone and their mother knew that KC was incredibly flawed last year; they just kept finding a way to win games. The offense has performed at a much higher clip this season, but the defense does appear to have slipped.

And long-term, the NFL has shown this is not a recipe for success. Bone-head plays and taking drill shots as a QB catch up to you in no time.

Two plays I’d like the nfl to speak on last night. Both pick plays. First one at the 1 yard line and the big one that led to an easy interception.

Right, which is more the reason I think the Chiefs are at the end of their current run. 

Also the lack of effort by Jones on the TD scramble by Lawrence has to have the coaching staff irate.

I think Coen is trying to get him to check to another play and the process just takes too long. I think this is their third coaching staff in Lawrence's time(5 years?) and eventually he will be smoother. He's a pretty tough guy. That last TD he scored was a classic!
