There’s still a lot that can change, but I noticed that LexCath has now jumped Glasgow in RPI after last night.

In addition, CAL dropped .04 points after beating, but somehow Western gain .03 points.  Weird how that happens.

I think Glasgow would have to beat FS and hope that either LC loses to Ashland or Murray loses to Caldwell. It looks like they will be traveling to Louisville for the Region Championship. I guess the 3A championship runs through Cal so if you’re going to win it you are probably going to have to beat them anyway. 

How much can RPI move in week 10 and/or 11??

Glasgow is .01071 behind Lex Cath for the 3rd spot in the west.

Next week, Lex Cath’s opponent has an rpi of .31471 where as Glasgow plays an opponent with and .32517. This slightly favors the Scotties by .01046.  

In week 11 they both play a 4A opponent where Ashland has a much better rpi than FS as of now.  Although, Ashland will probably lose to Johnson Central next week so their rpi will suffer some.  
 

It will be interesting how the final rpi in 3A will be.  Also, can Murray pass Bell Co for the 2 spot?  Bell plays a tough Pulaski Co in week 11 whereas Murray should win out.

I just realized 3A could have 5 undefeated teams, 4 9-1 teams and Lex Cath, who is a favorite at 8-2 ??

For much talk of 3A being a weaker class, that’s impressive.

The team that can overtake Lloyd is Bell County. But it is a steep order. Bell County plays Pulaski County who is 5A like Boone County (Lloyd's opponent) but Pulaski County is 7-2. If Bell County wins that game, they have a very good chance at passing Lloyd.

I don’t think there’s been talk of it being weaker, it’s just that CAL has been viewed as head and shoulders above and the perception is everyone is playing for second.

If the Pulaski game is say maybe a 14 point win for Bell and Lloyd beats Boone by 35 does that play any factor in the RPI?

No. Only wins and losses matter in RPI. Margin of victory or loss is not considered.

Pulaski did lose their starting QB for the remainder of the year before the Southwestern game and was then sluggish against them in a 22-12 win in what many thought would be a running clock game. I think Bell pulls out a W against Pulaski but hoping that it's not enough to bump Lloyd out of the #2 spot. I love seeing NKY teams ranked so high and the benefits that come with it. Hoping I have the oppurtunity to watch football locally in the middle/end of November.

If Bell Co beats Pulaski, they will be #2.  
 

Let’s say Bell lost, Lloyd or Murray could land at 2.  I think it will come down to OOPW and that is way above my pay grade to figure out.  
 

Lloyd will be playing their 2nd 5A school and played 1 6A school.  The rest were considered 3A as their 2 1A teams are not penalized.

Murray is playing their 2nd small school this week (Caldwell 2A) as they had beaten Russellville earlier in the years.  Murray played 3 5A, 1 6A, and 1 4A team.  
 

I think it will come down to what their opponents do in week 11 to determine the #2 spot.
