Murray is playing down against 2A Caldwell County, and a win will count as an equal class game.  This is Murray's second "Playing Down" opponent, not penalizing them.  I'll run another simulation on Monday.  

Can you run a simulation and see if Glasgow can stay ahead of Lex Cath if they both win. I’d really rather have Glasgow now go to CAL in the 3rd round if we can keep from it. Not saying we don’t respect Murray, but… Murray I don’t think is CAL lol.

I think Glasgow was hurt by having a 6 team district if you had a four team district you could’ve scheduled a couple bigger schools but you can only play who is on your schedule. Unfortunately I can’t see them staying ahead of Lex Cath if they both win their only chance is if Ashland wins. I’m no mathematician with all these numbers but with Ashland being higher in the RPI then FS it just wouldn’t make sense for Glasgow to stay ahead if they both win. So I will be a Ashland fan this week.

@Honey Badger, the pieces are still moving. We're told RPI is calculated in real time. It isn't. With two Saturday games, the gears will be grinding through Monday morning.

A 0.00008 difference at 01:00 on a Friday morning? No sweat.

We jumped back to # 2 overall early this morning. Still #1 in East so far. I think an order for us to stay number one in the east we need Pulaski county to beat Bell county tonight.

You are not kidding! I was also told that even if Bell wins it’s against a five A opponent just like ours was but the other factors are other teams that you’ve played and that they’ve played. ? I know one thing for sure, by Sunday morning we will know.

Still not sure how Murray leap frogged Lloyd but I guess as long as their ahead of Bell it doesn’t matter?

I am not the RPI expert and that accounting probably isn't final because not all the scores are in.

The way Lloyd leap frogged Murray last week with a win over Carroll I wouldn't rule anything out. Only thing I truely know is Lex Cath has to be the scariest 7 seed in the state.

LexCath is fire and will probably beat anyone besides CAL.
