I think a Mr. Football excels regardless of the competition and regardless of the limitations of the factors within his own team. To be the best player in KY means that essentially, irrespective of who you are playing, you are just out of everyone's league.

I agree to an extent. As good as Quisenberry was for Boyle. Would he still have won if he played for Christian County?

In his first full game since CAL and X (he was limited to 3 carries for 66 yards at DC due to shoulder bruise):

Hampton 21 carries for 209 and 3 TD’s (should have been 22 carries for 215 and 4 but a bogus hold call after he has a clear path walking in to end zone)

Catholics run defense staring with a great D-line has been top notch:

Bowling Green had 23 carries and 80 yards 1 TD

Apollo 18 carries and 51 yards 0 TD’s

DC 27 carries for 56 yards and 0 TD’s

In total these 3 teams had 68 carries for 197 and 1 TD

Hampton has 21, 209 and 3

Bump.

In this game Hampton set the single game rushing record at Owensboro senior - at 326, passing Mark Higgs, he also set the career TD rushing record at Owensboro senior at 76 (by my count), breaking Higgs’ record of 75.  He is also 1 behind Maurice Peanut White for Rushing TD’s in a season at 25,while White has 26 - White was the star on the last state championship team in 1986.  White was a tremendous athlete and played DE too and was a star there.  Congrats Evan Hampton!

Hampton with 265 yards and 3 TD’s on 8 carries against Woodford.  1 catch for 51 and 1 TD.  Huge statement yet again for MR FOOTBALL.

After tonight he wrapped up Mr. Football 2025. He's the best player in High School football.

Hampton with 265 yards and 3 TD’s on 8 carries against Woodford.  1 catch for 51 and 1 TD.  Huge statement yet for MR FOOTBALL.

On season that’s 162 carries for 1,925 yards (11.7 YPC) and 28 TD’s (A NEW OWENSBORO HIGH RECORD passing Maurice White with 26) and 18 catches for 280 yards and 3 TD’s receiving.  That’s 2,205 all purpose on season and  31 TD’s.  Hampton crushed the #1 team in state in Wofo.  The 1,925 yards rushing this season are 3rd all-time at Owensboro behind Mark Higgs in 1982 and 1983.  The 11.7 YPC are also 3rd all time for a red devil behind Justin Miller and Imonte Owsley.

Career stats are 506 carries for 5,201 yards and 79 TD’s (A NEW OWENSBORO HIGH RECORD). 10.3 yards per carry for his Career.

77 catches for 914 yards and 9 td’s receiving.

Total Touches Career - 583 touches for 6,117 yards and 90 TD’s(most likely an Owensboro High Record).  10.5 yards a touch.

Records:

1st in Career Rushing TD’s at Owensboro for Career with 79

1st in rushing TD’s at Owensboro in a season at 28

1st in rushing yards in a game at Owensboro with 326 yards

2nd most all time rushing yards with 5,201 (behind only Mark Higgs)  Hampton has 274 less career carries than Higgs.

3rd in season rushing YPC with 11.7 YPC

3rd most rushing yards in a season behind only Mark Higgs final 2 seasons

Looks like he's in the driver's seat for Mr. Football as highest rated guy that has made the championship.
