I said I wouldn’t be surprised if Lloyd won but I didn’t expect like this. I’m assuming Lloyd might be better than some thought. Congratulations to Lloyd on an impressive win.

No. But wouldn't have made a difference. @DRKARK was right Lloyd is fast. And they played like somebody said they were going to lose 31-6. They took that game personal and  they could have scored 60 if they wanted too. NCC has some big time issues.

I'm leaning more towards NCC being down. Don't get me wrong - I think Lloyd is good. But the margin here to me is likely more about NCC down than Lloyd being that much better than last year.

Lloyd looked really strong!  good size a lot of speed and some great coaching!  On the other hand the Breds were a little out of sync  Of course it’s early and the coaching staff will have them ready!  But IMO that defense that the Breds run has to go or they are in for a long season!  For one thing a 3-8 Read with your LB 7 to 8 yards off the ball with no blitzing or stunting what so ever is just not good.  No disrespect to a great coaching staff but sometimes you have to coach and be aggressive with the players and talent that you have!    Good luck both teams!

I wouldn’t doubt that NCC is having some struggles but a win like Lloyd had last night indicates more strengths than some may have not thought or knew too. I’m sure that both points are a factor.

I too am a bit surprised by this score.  NCC has had the upper hand with the Juggs in recent history, but Lloyd is always capable of playing a strong game.

I think Lloyd had 2 KO returns for TD.

Out of sync? A little out of sync means you loose by two scores and need some work. It was the first game for both teams. Lloyd was out of sync on three scores left in the table. If they met in game 9 the score would be the same. 

Thanks for telling me what I meant!    Lloyd looked great they could have named the score and it’s going to take a very good team to beat them!  My point was really talking about NCC defense!  You just cannot set back in a 3 man front and the other 8 players read and react especially when you’re outmanned!   If NCC does not change their defense or start blitzing and running stunts they are in for a long season!  Again the juggernauts looked great in all aspects of the game especially their specialties!  Good luck both teams!

Lloyd had the size advantage and NewCath played the 3 man front, which wasn’t working. Needed to put at least 4 on the d-line. 
 

Lloyd is a very tough looking team for 3A. Good luck rest of season.
