Getting to crunch time. Hunter Greene expected back soon. Lodolo still 10 days- 2 weeks out. The Reds need those two and good health the rest of the way to make the playoffs.

Starting pitching is solid.  Bats need to be more consistent.  That lineup needs to scare opponents and I don't think that they are at that point yet.

Reds leading the Phillies 6-0 after 6 innings. A great start for Singer who had a no-hitter through 4 innings and has only allowed 3 hits through 6 innings. THe game is now under a rain delay.

Reds led 6-0 after 8 innings and it was announced that Hunter Greene will be returning for the Reds in tomorrow night's game.

Reds win game 2 tonight 6-1 as Bryce Harper hit a solo shot in the top of the 9th for the lone Philly run.

Abbott

Lodolo

Greene

Littell

Burns

Singer

Martinez

Lowder

This team is loaded with potential starting pitching.  Lowder is kind of the forgotten man for this season and Martinez obviously can go to bullpen.

Starting pitching has been plenty good enough.  The Bats on the other hand...?

Hunter Green with strong return tonight, Reds 1 game out of wildcard now.

Lord knows they want a Yankee/Dodger redux or subway series. Let's hope the Buckeye State ruins all that for everyone.
